Welcome Leadership and Governance Review Team!  I decided that it might be helpful to build this site to:

• serve as a central space for our resources
• provide us a space to submit and share individual and well as group responses to the templates
• post news and metings

Great Writing workshop on Friday!-  many thanks to Jo, Joe and Debbie for their presence and to Sahar and Renee for their contributions.  

I will check with Kay to see if she has any input and Pat has agreed to work on the Wiki this week. I felt that we made great progress, Especially on the first section.  I was able to update all the templates to be pices that you can click on an colaborate by editing/adding-  lets agree to not delete anyone elses comments for now!   I was also able to add a draft report section that lets us pull together the comments from the templates into one space.  I am putting that together now and should have it in place for your review and comment shortly.  We made gret progress on writing a draft then shifted to some of our data collection needs.  we brainstormed a list of college leaders to invite- and decided to try and host some brownbags or forums where interested individuals might have the opportunity to also provide insight in reaction to what we have drafted.  

I spoke with Jim wright after our meeting today and he suggested putting a short Survey gorrilla together to send out to the list of individuals we named. this would provide input/reactions to the standard areas as well as serve to notify them of the brownbag times.  I liked this idea and will try and get a survey gorrilla pice done ASAP-

Please write full responses to all the questions on your assigned template ( I have assigned them below)  Pleas enote that I have added templates and assignments to this list to complete our task.

  It would be helpful if you listed as many examples and sources of evidence as possible as well as a summary two paragraphs. 

On 4/6 I will post the link to the staff /student  survey results.  You can then read the results and relate them to your section of the report citing the results as well as identifying other questions that we need to pursue or goups we need to speak with over the next 4 weeks.

By 4/20- You should have refined your "template" into a rough draft for that section.

On Friday- 4/20 we will look at all these together and provide input into what should be our first draft of the report ( without all evidence citiations)

Those members who can not make the meeting time of 8-11 will need to have all their input submited online beforehand.  Kay- If you are not free in the morning we can get together Thursday or Friday afternoon.

3/9   After the meeting today I was really enthused at the progress we made-  I wanted to provide you with some information about what we decided organizationally-

    We decided to keep working with the WIKI as a good way to colaborate on what we are writing and collecting.  Debbie brought up the concern about how to add new pages, add comments to exsisting pages etc.  I responded that this may simply be that I need to provide you passwords to allow you to open new pages of your own-  I am looking into this this and will provide you with what I find out-  In the meantime here are some "navigation" hints

when you go to the WIKI-  at the bottom of the page is "show all pages"  I click on that and then select the team page to get here.  Lets continue to try and have that be the "home "page for our work.  I have attached the additional pages that you need right to this so all your references, templates etc are in one place.  You can open anything and at the bottom of the page click on edit.  The screen will change to an edit mode thajt allows you to insert text directly, cut and paste from other documents .... respond to each other ...   remember to click save when you are don or your additions will disapear into the void.
